United are winning important games. The victory over Liverpool at Anfield was a title winning result if ever I have seen one. Ronaldo is on fire, Rooney is looking strong for the finish, Heinze is back to full fitness, Carrick remains composed, Scholes and Giggs are like a fine wine - better with age, Ferdinand and Vidic have been rocks and Gary Neville is a red, he hates scousers!

Mourinho are you listening, you'd better keep our trophy glistening, we'll be beack in May, to take it away, walking in a Fergie wonderland

If we can get 3 points out of our next game at home to Blackburn that will set us up nicely for what is going to be an incredibly busy April with huge games in the league, European Cup and FA Cup.

OOH it's exciting.

When Gordon Strachan signed they became my only team. I learned about the history of the club, the Busby Babes, Charlton, Best, Law, the Munich Air Disaster, the city of Mancheser, the style of football.....I fell head over heels in love with them.

United won the FA Cup in 1985 and then nothing unti the FA Cup in 1990. I was hopelessly teased at school by countless Liverpool supporters. With Dalglish playing for the scousers they were by far and away the biggest supported English team in Scotland.

United bounced back. Fergie won the Cup Winners Cup, the league, the double, the double double and the treble. The glorious treble. I was there on 26th May 1999 in the Nou Camp to see it all. It was amazing. But that will be another post. This is just an introduction.

I used to have a League Match Ticket Book at Old Trafford but increased prices and a mortgage have meant that I rarely make it down now. So this blog is all about watching United from a distance. As I'm about to go travelling around the world in June, it could become interesting as I watch United in some weird places. Stay tuned for all the news.
